These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Landmark website at landmark-app.co.za (the "Site") and your pre-registration for the Landmark app. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About Landmark
Landmark is a curated atlas of worth-visiting places. The mobile app is in development; this Site currently provides information and lets you pre-register to be notified at launch.
2. Pre-registration
Pre-registering expresses interest and lets us contact you about the launch. It does not create an account, guarantee access, or commit you to anything. Features, timing and availability described on the Site may change.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- submit anyone else's personal information without permission;
- attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems;
- copy, scrape or misuse content beyond normal personal use.
4. Intellectual property
The Landmark name, logo, design, text and imagery on the Site are owned by Landmark or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
5. Image licensing
All images of landmarks shown on the Site are publicly sourced. If you are the owner of an image and would like it removed, please contact us at support@landmark-app.co.za and we will review and action your request promptly.
6. Third-party content and links
The Site may reference or link to third-party services (for example social media). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
7. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work to keep information accurate and the Site available, we make no warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or complete.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Landmark will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
